R422D Price Increase, 1 June 2024
Dear Valued Customer,
Please be advised that as a result of the continuing HFC phasedown, quotas for all HFC refrigerants was reduced by a further 16% in January 2024.
Given the very high global warming potential of R125 (3,500), which is a key component of R422D, we are foreseeing a shortage of R422D to ensue.
At the current consumption rate, we are expecting to have consumed all available R422D by Q4 or at best case early Q1 2025. Unforeseen demand could see stocks deplete earlier.
Due to this limited supply an immediate price rise will be effective the 1 June 2024.
